Marie Etzler, writer, cyclist, Tom Petty fan. Marie wrote her first story in the third grade, dramatizing the life of her tiny ceramic pig who lived in the world Marie created in the strip of dirt alongside their trailer. She climbed out of the dirt and earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in English. Her first novel was "County Line Road" about a poor kid from the wrong side of the tracks who made good.
