John M. A former Air Force captain and IBM systems engineer, John is also an Edgar Award nominee, a 2021 Shamus Award winner, a four-time Derringer Award winner, the 2018 recipient of the Edward D. Hoch Memorial Golden Derringer Award for lifetime achievement, and the author of seven collections of short mystery fiction.
